In season one, Rachel is told she needed a nose job. Her response? “Barbra Streisand. When Barbra was a young ingenue everyone told her in order to be a star, she’d have to get a nose job. Thankfully, she refused.” Season two rolls around, and she is so god damn insecure about herself she jumps at the chance to change her nose. Not only does she want to change it, she wants to copy Quinn’s nose simply because Quinn is with Finn.

What happened to Rachel Barbra Berry? The girl who would do anything to make it out of Lima and to New York? The girl who wants to take Broadway by storm? Oh, right, Finn Hudson happened. He is constantly tearing her down, laughing along with others when they put her down, and never sticking up for her. Season one Rachel, more specifically the first 13 episodes, would have never even considered it.

Hell, the first 13 episodes in general were some of the best. It’s like season one and two are completely different shows. They’ve dumbed down characters, completely ruining some of them for me. Honestly, I liked Finn at first. He was cute and adorable, slightly dimwitted but that was okay. Now? The writers make him out to be the best thing that has walked the god damn Earth. He treats both Rachel and Quinn like complete and utter shit. He plays them both, but its totally okay for him to do that cause it’s Finn.

I don’t know if anyone remembers, but there are other fucking characters. Mercedes Jones, Tina Cohen-Chang, Mike Chang… ring a bell? Probably not because they are constantly overshadowed. Tina has not had one full solo all season. Sure, she has started them but she never gets to finish them because something always happens. Mercedes has barely had any storylines what so ever this season, which is ridiculous because she has amazing potential. And Mike Chang? He has been on since season one, and guest stars have had more lines than him in one episode than he has in two seasons.

Also, guest stars? You shouldn’t have to have huge big named stars to make your show better. Why can’t you focus on the cast you already have? They are all AMAZING. You don’t need a new guest star every episode. It’s insane. I don’t wanna see Holly Holiday singing these songs, I wanna see Glee Club singing them.

The name of the show is named after the Glee Club, try having them sing for a change.
